Fall Plans - Hydrangea moves

  1. Move the tall blue monkshood to the ring garden where the iris and Quickfire hydrangea are now.
  2. Dig and divide the iris, move in to the edge of the circle, in front of the monkshood, where pink astilbe is now.
  3. Move the astilbe to the back, TBD.
  4. Move Quickfire to the front of the house, where Winky Pinky hydrangea is now.
  5. Move Winky Pinky to the back beside the garage, where the monkshood is now.

  1. Ummmmm, why are you moving all the hydrangea? Maybe I should send you this Endless Summer root this year. It is not likely to do much for me even in the sun and it seems like it would be a good time for you to plan a planting place for it.

  2. My Quickfire hydrangea is in the ring garden and has only one bloom this year, after being full of blooms that past 2 years. The ring garden is getting a big overhaul. Winky Pinky is going to the back because the colours are better back there. Yes, I'd love to have your Endless Summer if you give up on it. I'm getting rid of my Claudie hydrangea (which hasn't bloomed in 4 years) and will keep that spot reserved.
