Chester Day Trip - New Plants

Today was the first time we went to the garden centre in Chester. Great selection! We even found papyrus King Tut which we've had once before. Now we know where to find it every spring.

We also came home with two new dwarf trees to add to our collection:

tsuga canadensis Watnong Star

cryptomeria japonica Dinger

And a new dwarf hosta:

hosta Pamela Lee

This shot is for perspective:

Red Mushrooms

Something about mushrooms makes me nervous.  We've had them in various parts of the yard and garden from time to time.  This is the first time I've seen these big red ones.

Eva Cullum phlox is blooming, as well as the first Golden Stargazer.

Lots of Campanula

Not only is this Rubriflora blooming under the trees on the west side, the lime green Dickson's Gold is blooming in the rock garden.  And the Superba is starting to bloom out back.
